Samsung Galaxy S10 – Leaks and rumors

Samsung ready to unleash their 10th anniversary galaxy series on Feb 20, 2019 and we already see various leaks in specifications and the variants that Samsung going to release in their launch event. We tried to cluster all the rumors below and lets see what we are going to get on the actual event.

Most interesting rumor is that Samsung is going to release three variants of galaxy S10 series known as S10 Lite or S10e, S10 and S10 Plus this year, like what Apple did for their IPHONE X model last year. Samsung too likely to introduce the same like what APPLE introduced last year like XR variant for cost effective market like India and likely to be the Galaxy S10 Lite or Galaxy S10e variants and this model might be targeted for the markets like India and China.

Obviously three variants are holding different screen sizes and most of the specifications of S10 and S10 Plus models might be similar like screen tech and the features. But S10 Lite will vary from the other two variants and rumored to have a fingerprint scanner on the side of the phone not on the back or in-display fingerprint scanner.

The rendered images of the other two models S10 and S10 plus are missing fingerprint scanners on the back side and hinted to have an in-display fingerprint scanner that will be an ultra-sonic fingerprint scanner and not like the optical fingerprint scanners used by the other manufacturers for better accuracy.

To avoid a notch display, Samsung will follow their Infinity- O display likely known as the punch hole display to hold a room for the front facing camera. So, the S10 Lite and S10 models will have only one camera on the front and S10 Plus will have two front cameras.

On the back side, Samsung S10 Lite will have a dual camera but the other two models are having three cameras on the back as per the press images. These three models will have a different screen size and most importantly the S10 Lite will have a flat screen like what we had before from the Galaxy S5 devices with very thin side bezels.

All the three variants are powered by the home grown latest 8nm Exynos processor 9820 in most of the country except US. For US market S10 will comes with Snapdragon 855 which is also a 7nm chipset. Both the chipsets are having an inbuild 5G modem and we expect that the S10 plus 1TB special edition will have a 5G support as per the rumors.

Specs list above are clustered as per the rumors from the internet and the price conversion may vary with the actual price.
